Governor Dave Heineman endorses Charlie Janssen for Legislature
The announcement that Governor Dave Heineman has endorsed Charlie is an important event.  Gov. Dave is from Fremont, and is a very popular governor.  This endorsement helps the campaign with votes and fundraising.  By the way, the campaign has now raised more than $45,000.00, most of which will be used in the primary.

January 25, 2008 - All the members of the Fremont City Council, as well as Mayor Skip Edwards, have publicly endorsed Charlie in his race for Nebraska legislature.  Charlie has one opponent who joined the race in November.  The list of endorsements continues to grow.  See the endorsement page here.

Charlie raises over $35,000 so far...
in his race for Dodge County's seat in the Nebraska legislature, the campaign announced on October 19, 2007.  The campaign will not be using taxpayer's money to finance itself.

Campaign kick-off event a success!
Over 300 friends of Charlie Janssen packed the Opera House on  Thursday, June 28, 2007 as Charlie Janssen officially began his campaign for Nebraska legislature.  Special guests included Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning, Speaker of the Legislature Mike Flood, State Senator Ray Janssen, and Fremont Mayor Skip Edwards.
